regional playoffs
at the Depot in Norfolk, NE on February 20, 2010. Both Archie and Sarah will
start off with double chip stacks for qualifying in both sessions.

Jeff Miller from MVP Lounge in Omaha and Stacy Stanford from the Touchdown Club in North Platte went to Vegas on June 27th to participate in the "Destination Las Vegas" National Championship tournament. The 25 person tournament was at the Orleans Casino and up for grabs was a $10,000 main event WSOP seat. Unfortunately neither player took down the tournament, but still had the next day to look forward to. Both Nebraska players played in the WSOP event #52 a $1,500 buy-in on Monday June 30th.

Destination Las Vegas: 2010 World Series of Poker
CONTEST DETAILS & HOW TO QUALIFY
- Score points by placing in the top 30% of weekly tournaments. All players receive 20 points just for showing up.
- Accumulate points to climb the bar's leaderboard during TWO - 8 week sessions (some locations may vary the length of the sessions) running January 2010 through April 2010.
- Top players from each bar at the end of each session qualify for playoffs.
- Qualify in both sessions to receive 2x Chips Bonus in playoffs!
- Individual bar champions (accumulation of session 1 and session 2 points) will receive a "League Champion" medallion. State Championship scheduled April-May, 2010.
- State champs will earn a trip to Las Vegas and a WSOP preliminary event seat, as well as an invite to the National Championship. ADDITIONAL CASH & PRIZES, TROPHIES up for grabs at state championship tournaments!
- National Championship Tournament & Party will be held in Las Vegas. This will be an exclusive 25-person tournament (approx) to decide the overall champion. This year's champ will earn a seat in the world's richest poker tournament, the $10,000 MAIN EVENT of the World Series of Poker! Additional cash & prizes will be up for grabs in this championship party.
ONLINE QUALIFIERS
- At least 2 players will qualify online. Win any league night at a participating location to receive a special Gamecard for entry to an online sit-n-go qualifier on Free Poker Network's own online poker site "FPNOnline". To participate, simply download the FPNOnline software, register a new account (one account per player), and enter the gamecard code in the cashier screen for a "Bronze Token". Use the bronze token to enter a qualifying single-table tournament.
- One online championship for each session - tournament dates will be announced on the website.
PRIZE DETAILS
- 25 total national championship qualifiers will win a 3-night stay in Las Vegas, including airfare and hotel accommodations.
- 20 players will earn WSOP preliminary event seats.
- National Champion will earn $10,000 WSOP main event seat. A total of 21 WSOP Seats! Good luck - will we see you in Las Vegas this summer for the 2010 World Series of Poker???
All new players will receive their first drink on the house, just for playing poker (up to a $4 value).
